Bring your friends and family out for dinner and listen to the great tunes of Frank Sinatra. I didn’t know some of the lyrics until I heard John singing them and was surprised! You won’t believe your ears! I don’t think you can sound more like Sinatra than John Michael does - so come and listen for yourself.
John Michael Biography:
John was born in Dún Laoghaire Ireland, some 12 kilometers south of Dublin, and he is a trained Opera singer. In high school, he was selected as member of California All State Honor Choir, conducted by Paul Salamunovich. He worked at Great America in Santa Clara, Ca. and Chicago IL. as an Elvis Presley impersonator. He has opened up for national touring acts such as: Chris Isaak, The Fixx, and The Pointer Sisters. He has had the honor of singing the National Anthem at the Big Sur International Marathon in 2008 and 2009.
Recently, he performed with Monterey pianists Bob Phillips, Tom Lawson, Rick Yramategui and Linda Keill; musical groups: Essence, Pavarotti to Sinatra Orchestra, D.B. Walker Bog Iron, The Bog, Mercy, John Michael Duo and The John Michael Band. Jerry Gervase, columnist for the Monterey County Herald wrote in March of 2007 in his column after see John in concert: “He was so good that if the Three Tenors had heard him, at least two of them would have hidden out in the witness protection program.”
